Unlike the 2-73 trial it was run as a valid trial and with results that allowed the FDA to quickly approve the 2b trial and we will soon get the results from. If successful as Dr Alkon expects they will soon be start phase 3 trials. Unlike Avanex which seems to be in a never ending uncontrolled "data mining" trial to justify a 2b trial.
