Apple dropping IMGFN in 18-24 months. Stock drops 70%. It appears that Apple is going to use a new GPU architecture. Not clear if they are going to try to roll their own or switch to a new vendor. Imagination is suing or talking about it I think.
Imagination seems to think that it would be difficult for Apple to use their own internally developed architecture without infringing on Imagination patents, hence their talk of legal action.
