Wouldn't these guys be making their money by "refining" crude oil into other products like gasoline? Presumably crude extracted and owned by someone else seeking to have it refined. I think your assumption that their revenue per barrel is the same as the current going crude price is way off. These guys aren't extracting 50,000 barrels a day, they would be "refining" it... AT A REFINERY. You need to figure out the going rate to "refine" crude into other products per barrel (which I'm guessing is WAY lower than $40/barrel).
