Was reading the project actually received final approval which would validate they did indeed have all the material stored on site to start the first phase. The first phase of the mine is supposed to have a life span of 28 years, is one of the largest deposits in the world, and will employ thousands of people. Once the first phase is over, there's an estimated additional 30 more years of deep earth mining. The total mine is estimated to hold 33.5 million tonnes of potassium chloride.

Have you heard of SARMIN MINING INC and Stéphane A. RIGNY? He is one of the founders of Sarmin and is still there. He was the President/Director of Mag until 2011. He then went on to Evergreen as an advisor until 2013.

I mention this because I'm finding pieces of info indicating that they plan on beginning mining the Congo in April, that MPC still owns the exclusive rights to the mine, and Rigny is tied to it all.

If this is true, then that could explain the sudden interest in MAAFF. I watched the level 2 the later part of the day and the trading was way out of the norm. The bids appeared weak, very weak but the AON orders supporting the bids were huge and NITE was definitely hiding bigger bids. Then mid day the buys on the ask just kept coming out of nowhere. Literally $10k and $20,000 slaps just destroying the ask once it hit the .04-.09 range. Towards close there was literally a million dollars worth of stock bought up like nothing in like the last 10 minutes including the afterhours T trades.

Would really appreciate your input to what I'm finding here. Your post #74 is very informative also for anyone researching what's going on here. This arena is relatively new to me but I'm finding that the global demand for potassium chloride over the last few years has increased while countries like India and China (2 of the largest consumers) have deliberately been cutting back on importing it which, has played a factor in the decline in price. If they were deliberately walking it down for future capitalization I can't say but the price has declined and now China is showing a huge interest in the Congo project.

There's a lot of reports out there stating that potassium chloride is at record lows informing investors it may be time to invest in this area because global demand is no doubt increasing.
