Regarding hemp farmers in NC, I think that we can look at Bruce and kenaf for a guide.

He seems to be willing to loan the company (or pay farmers in shares) enough to grow and store 550 acres of kenaf over the past couple of years, so why wouldn't he be willing to do the same with a few hundred (or few thousand) acres of hemp, if it helps sell the the story?

Those farmers seemed willing to grow a pre-sold, contracted crop.

Assuming you had the land and equipment in NC, how much would you charge Bruce to grow 100 acres of hemp, harvest it, then store the crop for a year or two?
