Mar 11, 2014 .....More Than 4.2 Million People Have Now Enrolled In Obamacare via Obamacare’s health insurance exchange marketplaces through March 1, the Department of Health and Human Services announced in a report Tuesday.

8 million enrolled in the Marketplaces during 2014 open enrollment (Oct 2013 to April 2014).

During the year, many dropped their plans or didn’t renew them for 2015. In fact, only 4.5 million people renewed their plans on HealthCare.Gov (more on state Marketplaces later) by the end of 2014.

As of March 2015, HHS reported a total of 16.4 covered due to the ACA between the Marketplace, Medicaid expansion, young adults staying on their parents plan, and other coverage provisions. This number was reported by HHS to have risen to 17.6 million according to September 2015 data.

Nearly 6.4 million Americans have selected Obamacare policies through the federal exchange for coverage starting Jan. 1, 2017 federal officials announced Wednesday. That's 400,000 more than had selected policies a year ago. WOW ENROLLMENT IS UP!
This year, only 2.1 million of nearly 6.4 million are new to Obamacare.
