Not sure why we are throwing around congratulations. I do appreciate the update and its nice to not be completely in the dark, but I echo the sentiments of those asking questions.....big surprise I know.
This update really just confirmed a few theories that some on this board have put out there. Jamis has been saying BOE for weeks now.
Don't forget, our fun competitor Nanoco has been tied to numerous mega display companies and look what they have produced. Nothing much. Nor has the tie to a big company sent their SP skyrocketing. In fact the opposite has happened as month after month, they have failed to generate mass sales.
Investors don't want to see PRs with generic working relationships, they want to see partnerships that produce revenue. Hopefully, this partnership will finally come to fruition, but once again, I am not as excited as some of you appear to be. I was very excited about Nitto Denko as well, but that turned out to be nothing.
I know, I know, I should be buying a new vacation home with this ground breaking letter, but I just have more questions.
Honestly, what in the world was going on the last year. Steve is making it sound like he had this ship ready to sail into harbor and somehow the new management hit a reef. He's making it sound like the whole last year was a waste expect for his efforts in China. So, he had to come back to save us all and take the helm again. And who in the world are these magical shareholders that forced out the previous management?
Why did they need to "return" to their primary goal of producing high quality quantum dot materials. Again what in the world were they doing last year? And why would they need to re-commission the reactors.
Which quarter were they supposed to have a finished film for commercial application last year, 2nd? So this letter confirms we still do not have a commercially applicable film? Also, we have been working with potential film manufacturers since the beginning.

Maybe this year is the year. I hope so. I hope BOE and the Chinese become our saving grace. I hope we become the leaders in the field. But its clear we are still at the very least, months away.
With that being said, I do think near doubling of the A/S will dilute the SP in the short and medium term. I hope I am wrong on all of this and Steve pulls a real rabbit out of his hat and not a fancy letter.
