PHILADELPHIA, April 18, 2016
PHILADELPHIA, April 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- EMS Find, Inc. (OTCQB: EMSF) announced today the integration of its on-demand medical transportation application with Uber services. The new feature expands and enhances the variety of options of on-demand transportation available to the users of EMS Find Mobile App designed to assist health care providers, patients and their family members with arranging transportation to and from medical care facilities, procedures and appointments.
EMS Find is the first on-demand medical transportation solutions provider to join the Uber's Affiliate Program and to integrate its specialized medical transportation mobile app with the Uber technology platform that connects health care providers, patients, and family members with nearby transportation providers.
With the current Uber integration now in place, EMS Find's users will be able to use the App in the more than 170 cities and 44 countries, in which Uber operates, by clicking on the Uber button on Transport Request screen of the EMS Find App on 24/7 basis. It will offer users an additional option to go from their current location to their destination as well as the ability to track medical transport in real time. The EMS Find App will feature Uber transportation option and provide the estimated price of the trip. When EMS Find's user selects Uber option, the app will connect the user to the screen to start the reservation process, including an option to use a credit card. Uber platform will provide the user, who does not require a specialized medical transportation, with an affordable option to book a trip to the primary appointment or out patient medical procedure, in a timely and efficient manner.
"We are very pleased to integrate our app with Uber and join their affiliate list which includes many great companies like Expensify, Hinge, Starbucks, Transit App, Foursquare, Weave, Trulia, Breathometer, Momento, Trip Advisor, Hyatt Hotels, Trip Case, Time Out, Tempo Start Calendar, Square, Zomato, Hip Monk, Open Table and United Airlines. We are constantly searching for ways to extend and improve our platform capabilities evolving our online and offline experiences by listening to users and understanding their needs. Our users seek seamless and smart solutions on the go, and their feedback drove our approach to EMS Find's new mobile on demand offerings," said Steve Rubakh, President & CEO. He added, "The integration with Uber is just one way we are making sure that our users get an access to the latest technologies."
EMS Find's integration with Uber comes on the heels of a newly launched iPhone & Android Version as well as the Company's new mobile site. Driven by listening to providers' feedback, EMS Find's unique functionality makes it easier to connect in real time with medical transportation companies to set up medical transport for health care providers, patients, and their family members. The App's functionality is currently being tested in the pilot program introduced by the Company in collaboration with a CA-based ambulance services management partner.
