Comb, I see. So while there is no significant portable Linux market, the flash-based laptops are not ready yet. With Linux, you can mount /tmp/ in memory filesystem or HDD and make swap partition on the secondary hard drive (I'm not telling this to you, are use Familiar Linux yourself). With Windows, there is no way to force system to not use drive C: for all swapping and temp files.

That actually may be the advantage that will give Linux big jumpstart on ultraportable notebook market. I saw new Zaurus SL-C750 on the web. This is absolutely a killer machine! Full featured notebook with 640x480 resulution with 5"x4" size!
