I should have been teared up but I wasn't.

Since his daughter encouraged him to reconcile with his wife I do believe he dies in an accident. This would serve two purposes.....the daughter would feel guilty for encouraging him and the wife would feel guilty because she left for the tour when they weren't on the best of terms.

Next week is the final episode of the season so I guess that will be the cliffhanger.
