Oh, I think that's been stated. Over stated even. Of course everyone knows that Tmmi sued Dimension initially. Of course Dimension was entitled to defend itself, and to some extent they did. (They actually didn't defend all claims made in the lawsuit, particularly claims relating to other code, and they stopped saying things like they were the exclusive owner of all things fractal.)
But Dimension chose to spend a lot of time and money trying to short circuit the lawsuit, and it appears that if they had not done that and simply sat on their hands, Tmmi would have pulled the plug on the VDK 2 claim. And no one forced Dimension to launch 12 counterclaims. Most of Dimension's legal fees were spent on the motions to dismiss, and the counterclaims, and not mere defense. Provided they actually paid, Dimension's lawyers must see them as dream clients.
But enough already on poor Dimension. I absolutely agree that Tmmi should answer their phone, and even better, have something to say when people call. It would be good to see a webpage that isn't just updated to remove "available for sale", and list new board members. It would be terrific to see Tmmi make some sort of actual progress and inform its shareholders about it.
