I'd prefer that the company simply provide the patent numbers for the licenses picked up in the settlement. In fact, it would be nice to have the whole story about the settlement.
I'm sure you remember the mumbo-jumbo regarding its scope in dollars and the creation of a legal fund nonsense.

There shouldn't be any need for speculation. Based on his verbose press releases it's obvious that the CEO loves to talk...he should explain it. It's simple:
What patents were licensed?
How much cash was received?
