its percentages. look up major industry co that run tournaments and tell us what % of there members actually play in tournaments. i have no idea but i would imagine its no higher than 20% for your average tournament. which is right where we are. it seems small because we dont have 500k members. but percentage wise we are right along with the industry standard. imo. where did george lucas get his funding while everyone called him crazy? this is no star wars but just an example because everyone knows star wars. investors poured in money to something that majority of people thought was an entire waist of time and $ back then. kept writing blind and blank checks to keep production going. bottom line no studio was willing to invest in george lucas indie star wars film. investors had a difference of opinion and saw the financial possibilities of reward. again im not saying this is a billion dollar co. im showing the fact that theres always rich people willing to throw out chump change to them for a possibility of huge returns. same as we do here on otc. the fact investors are still throwing up $ tells me they are fairly confident in there investment. soon as the chance of that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow disappears so will there $ and that hasnt happened yet. again....star wars george lucas reference only showing how investors are willing to throw $ at a longshot project. no way comparing the businesses and brands. so dont twist my words.
