I was going through some recent posts, in order to track the source of the following sentiment, which has been echoed by many:

"We were promised an actual hospital test in January. We await the reality of that situation."
(posted by Zeppo six days ago)

What was the assumption of "actual hospital tests" in January based on? I tried to check the Medizone website, and as far as I could see, all it says is:

"Following the Christmas holiday period, Medizone anticipates entering into a brief trial/demonstration period in a major US hospital to confirm the disinfection results previously achieved in Canada are easily repeatable."

There is no specific date. It says that the "entering into a....trial period" will begin after the holidays. (If I'm wrong on this, and it mentions a date somewhere else, please tell me.)

Could it be that we (myself included) have created a little mass hysteria by reading into this what we wanted to hear? I remember a poster writing around the beginning of the month that swabs will be taken on Jan. 2, and the room will be treated, then more swabs a few days later, and results publicized by the tenth...(or roughly that scenario). Where in the world did someone come up with that chain of events?

For example, what exactly does "entering" a trial period mean? Does it mean actual testing? What assurance did we have that a hospital would have been willing to enter into serious discussions with Medizone before EPA approval? Considering how long the approval process took, and how unpredictable it was, it defies logic that any self-respecting executives would give Shannon the time of day unless he had approval from the EPA in hand.

The EPA came through on Nov. 21. Given the difficulty in getting the right people together from the end of November (Thanksgiving) through the holiday season, it makes sense that the first time any discussions could begin would be in January. Which means "entering" the negotiations for a short trial will begin in January.

Chances are that this is exactly what happened, and no matter how hard we wish that all the dumb hospital execs in the USA should just buy AS because we shareholders all know it's a life-saver and a money-saver, unfortunately that's not how things work.

At least not in the real world. The fantasy world of message boards might be different, I dunno.
