If the data suggests that AMD is making gains despite having an inferior product, then the only explanation that makes sense is ABI.

The notion that AMD is gaining market share is dated from a time when AMD has a superior product.

Intel now has the superior product and will take market share back from AMD.

There is absolutely no reason currently to buy an AMD. No performance advantage. No cost advantage. Nothing.
