Never heard of a "chachalaca"...

Wonder if their current abundance puts them in our geese problem category. There are towns here that are starting to round them up and gas them by the thousands. They are the number one pest in these parts... followed by the deer then the bears...

Though after yesterday's traffic past the front of this house, I'm starting to root against the bear hunt... We need something to eat the tourists. <ggg>

Not familiar with "exposed-aggregate" either. Is it a paving stone? Very new to this home owner thing... still working on meeting the base maintenance requirements.

Would love to see pictures of both birds if you can swing it.

I don't think happily married people with children live a richer life than I do... that is not me. Family life (and I had/have a good one) makes my skin crawl. I have friends at work who live in that mode. They are very happy... Good for them. Better them than me. Oh well... whatever puts a smile on a person's face as long as it doesn't hurt anyone... <g>

So it goes.

Going to get off quickly. The power blipped about 5 minutes ago and I've said too much for one day already... Guess the storms continue though I cannot hear them at the moment.
