There is an old story of a woman who looked to her husband at least once a week to tell her that he loved her very much and that he was so glad that he married her out of all the other woman in the world. He kept up with this for the first few months on a regular basis.

One day his wife came in with tears rolling down her face. The husband knew something was terribly wrong as she very rarely ever showed that type of emotion.

He asked in a calm voice, Honey what is wrong....I have never seen you so upset with the tears and all.

She looked at him and said you don't love me anymore.

In a calm voice he asked her why she would ever say such a thing. Her answer was that he hadn't told her for weeks that he loved her so she ASSUMED that he no longer cared.

His answer was, Honey I loved you from the first time I saw you! I loved you then and I love you now. If there is ever a change in this I will let you know.
