jparis, welcome to our modest abode. Yes, the volume is impressive, but very suspicious as well. I have seen many INTC deal associated spikes like that in the past. I even participated in some (like RMBS) which I believed at the time had substance (it turned out, INTC got bored of RDRAM relatively fast). Remember the "big OUM" deal with ENER (of which I was equally critical), INTC even invested in OUM a substantial amount of money (so far I see no investment in WAVX from INTC, only a cooperation, just like 100 other companies that are going to present at the next IDF.) Even WAVX faithfuls have gone through that in 2000, after seeing the volume explode by a factor of 10 from around 400,000 to 4 MM and the stock going from around $10 to $50 in the 1/1/00 to 3/7/00 period, it then proceeded to deflate to $5 by the end of 2000 and the volume kept dropping, strangely, coaetaneous with another superhyped stock this thread has been following, VLNC, and strangely, the latter, coaetaneously with WAVX is marching strongly recently).
I wonder with so many "wavoids" (I take it this term is an endearing term as far as I have seen so far, not an irrisory label) around, can you direct us to a post that analyzes the potential of Embassy, if it were to be adopted and what resources would WAVX require to get this thing off the ground?
