The section I finished was only 3-400 square feet, but it was a complicated section with a kind of gazebo style roof over the protruding master bathroom. So it had multiple breaks and ridge lines, plus they jacked the pitch up to 8/12 which made it impossible to stay on without a structure to keep you there.

It's good to have that part done. The next section is pretty straight forward, 7/12 pitch, two valleys and two ridge lines... Piece of cake, except it's big.

One of the things I enjoyed most about leaving the corporate world was destroying all the bits and pieces of work that I'd brought home with me over the years. Enjoy!

I also enjoyed never going to an airport again, except to pick someone up or drop them off. Travel sounds glamorous to those who don't have to; it gets very, very old.
