I have no problem with blacks and minorities voting as I have many black and minority friends.
It's the illiteracy in this country that bothers me.
There are a lot of ignorant people in this world that vote and just vote because they are carried to the polls and told who to vote for black and white.
I would dare say that due to our failed education system that people that aren't retarded that if tested could pass for being so.
I want every legal person in this country to have a chance to excel in life and live a happy and prosperous life, but ignorant people making ignorant decisions does nothing but harm everybody.
Maybe a voting test could flag some with problems and allow them to get help instead of them being stuck in poverty and voting for the very person that offers them crumbs for voting for them.
I believe there should be a serious effort to go into the projects and low income areas and set up workshops that seriously work with these people to educate them and help them get ahead.
I understand some just don't give a crap and prefer to just get a check instead of work and to them I say place their butts out on the street.
The ones that can't be educated because they really have some type of a learning problem should be taken care of by the Government as that is what the Government is for, but rewarding laziness isn't the way to do it.
Parents need to take control of their own lives and their children's as well and learn to be responsible for themselves and their own actions and behavior and their children's as well.
Bill Cosby has pointed out the problems in black community and I respect him for standing up for what is right and trying to help the people of his race to rise above their set non productive ways, while at the same time telling them that they need to take responsibility for themselves and their actions, instead of making excuses and saying it's always someone else's fault.
