There is already an imbalance of wealth in both places - particularly Nigeria.
The intelligent politicians will create some form of gov't. legislation that will address profit sharing amongst the populations of both Nigeria and STP - and effective legislation that is not simply windowdressing but is implemented.
This problem already exists (as you all know) in Nigeria. I suspect if this very important issue is not addressed and done so properly, internal unrest/violence will increase geometrically. Neither government will be capable of dealing with it from a military stand, that is for certain.
