Yah right...and I suppose a merger isn't a restructuring either, even though a merger does not always require additional capital in the business.



If you want to believe restructure, which means to strengthen, and liquidation, which means to cease operations, is the same, then by all means - believe so. :)

A merger has nothing to do with a liquidation. A merger always involves capital. For some reason, you're stuck on the idea that capital is cash. It's not. There are many forms of capital. Stock being one of them.
