I also think it could be argued that Dimension doesn't own the license to VDK 2, but I have to concede that the court disagreed.

I don't think Dimension has any claim to the VDK 1 license, and I think that's important when Dimension was claiming to have the exclusive rights to all the Iterated legacy (which is in any event all public domain I think).

I do think Dimension owns things including patents. The issue here is whether these patents interfere with anything Tmmi is trying to commercialize.
