We love to use that word "terrorism", "terrorists" don't we; so far it's been effective panic-button word.
Russia and China were both major threats to the US, yet Reagan and Nixon found ways to negotiate - both fellow-Reps, BTW.

I never suggested negotiations are easy but what's the other choice, go to war every other year with a country until The Decider leaves office?
