Cutting their heads off, Not literally. I have to make sure I spell everything out for you people.
Iran for the most part, but Syria has chemical weapons some supposedly from Iraq.
If you get rid of the ring leaders and their financial backing the ignorant mislead followers will latch on to the next things shinny that catches their attention and hopefully it won't be something fanatical.
Then again there may be nothing other than world war or the coming of Christ that will put an end to this as I don't think the terrorist are going to start thinking logically and have a change of heart at this point, but there is still hope.
