1) I'm not convinced there hasn't been or won't be a cash payment; 2) Leo couldn't have guaranteed a partnership since ctix was waiting on unknown trial results before partnering; 3) I think Ashcroft are the types that understand risk/reward and contingency and liked what they saw enough to take ctix as a client.
