You people have a short selective memory.
The country was going into a recession as Clinton was leaving office after the Dot Com crash where everybody lost their life savings. How soon you guys forget. Plus all all the factories that were here were closing down and being shipped to China at the same time causing even more jobs to be lost during a recession and then 9/11 comes along and shuts the whole country down for days.
We are lucky we had George Bush and a Republican Congress because the Democrats wanted to immeadiately raise taxes which would have probably have been the straw that broke the camels back as far as the economy.
George Bush is also the one that immediately went after the terrorist and didn't sit on his butt getting puffers as Clinton did after America was attacked, not once, not twice, but several times as America was out right attacked while Clinton was President and he did nothing to protect this country from further attack or anything to go after the terrorist that made the attacks.
How many times has America been attacked by terrorist since 9/11 and we are at constant war now with the terrorist now?
Don't tell me we are worse off because more of us aren't dead as would most likely be the case if Clinton or Gore were running the country. Lord help us if Gore had won.
We're not playing hide the bone anymore as Clinton was while they attacked us over and over at will with not one of their attacks being thrawted during Clinton's Presidentcy that I know of.
