Thanks for the lesson in picking entry points. I guess we are all doing basically the same thing, but some of us have better plans than others.

One of the things that I cannot get out of my mind are specific huge insider selling in certain issues. For example, even though UTX has been quite a snorter over the past 5 months, knowing that the CEO sold $25 million of the company's stock in the first week of July makes me a short using OBs rather than a long. Unfortunately today, UTX acted so poorly that no OB of any kind was any good. But I'll keep watching it.

For a guy like yourself who prefers long positions, I would look at CAT. It is an incredible snorter, although overbought at the moment. Some gaps on the chart to fill as well.
