There is certainly an advantage to voting yes on the offer. MT with CCG will make a good start to oligopoly in Canada.
I don't forget the purpose (social or medical) of these companies but I am not there for these reasons. Honestly, it's only gain that interests me.
Voting no, even if MT shares will suffer for a while, can increase benefits for day traders (even new little ones like me). I think, other buyout offer$$ can come.
So I will vote no.
These two companies are now on the map (of the media) and will attract the biggest financial players to grab some or most of the pie.
The dark side or shadow of the medal for those 2 companies is the Monsanto companies of this world that might appear between now and the time that the new Trudeau legislation takes place. I think they will be absorbed by bigger players. Good for shares, good enough for me.
I'm still optimistic for now to remain on the game and be a little happy player.
My 2 cents.
