This is a big deal. This does not put VPLM exactly back to "square one". The IPR is in no way a "diversion".

Having read through the IPRs and VPLM's filed preliminary responses it is very clear to me (and likely others) that Unified Patents was very careless and sloppy with its Petition. It filed 80+ claims in an attempt to convince the PTAB to perform a further review of whether to institute the IPR and the PTAB could not find even ONE reason to do so.

While the odds were greatly in favor of the Petitioner (as shown statistically from past petitions) VPLM executed its game plan to perfection.

And get this.....Apple's IPR petition is weaker than Unified's petition.

Only a matter of time.... BOX BOX BOX HMMMMMMMM
