I showed BigKahuna an example of much better tumor stabilization than what K showed. CTIX tried to hype efficacy with the lesion disappearing PR, yet failed as that patient stopped the trial and had CA-125 increase indicating cancer recurrence or increase. She most likely left so she could try something else. How about the ovarian lesions? Of course they didn't disappear.
Are you going to crow about 5 of 8 ovarian patients having some P21 expression? Why not give the amount of all 5 of those patients? Why not give the median? How about the dosage? Not giving the basics of the results indicates trying to hide something IMHO.
They gave a range of 3% to 73%. And that percentage is above baseline of a patient with damaged p53. An absolutely meaningless number. How does that 73% increase over baseline compare to the P53 of a healthy person?
So out of 5 that expressed an increase we have one at 3% which is barely expressing, and one at 73%. What about patients 2,3 and 4? 4%, 5%, 6%? Or maybe they are all at 3%?
Tumors stop growing all the time without P53 activation. Hell lesions even disappear. Go look at any other cancer trial that has nothing to do with P53.
You can have your K and eat it too. I'll stick with hoping B and P pan out.
