@VinayPrasad82 : I don't get why he is so popular. I find him to be quite self promotional/absorb and his personal attacks on DMD families makes me wonder how he treats his patients especially if they have a rarer cancer with limited data.

I agree his style is often over the top - even riled Herper at one point. But the actual positions aren't all that different from many with a more gentle style (e.g. @RichardLehman1), and he provides data.

As for DMD I haven't seen an attack on DMD families in general - only those who politicized the system. (And, in my opinion, many probably had financial conflict of interest and so are in no position to be offended.) Further, the other side has been equally annoying with their snide comments once Etep was approved.
