And truck/vehicle advertising graphics houses use 'tape', a plastic/polymer sheeting thats imprinted with the photos or text logo's etc on large plotter type photo printers, then the agency just rolls the stuff on. It will be peeled off later.
Very few large ads are painted these days.... I drove a 35 foot straight bed rental with total graphic box coverage with sheeting. Took the guys 1 hour to mount. Very cool.
