I'm long FNMA and am bullish but I don't see why this article is good news in any way. Wall St wants the mortgage market for the private banking sector. That's why cronies like Corker are out there pushing for GSE 'reform'. So why would it help to have another Goldman Sachs banker in the Treasury? Sounds like an awful pick to me.
