What ever happened to the old Farrell's donut store on the main drag on the north side of townn there in Santa Cruz?? It used to be a landmark for early morning donuts and coffee before and after surf sessions and a place truckers met too....the place to hang....and when I visited Farrells for the first time in years it was like deserted and some Chinese guy was running the place. I used to hang there during summer in high school (late 80's) as I lived in Santa Cruz for a few weeks each summer with my sister.
