Any thoughts on a refrigerator? After 23 years one of the lights in our top freezer won't work. It's aggravating the hell out of me and I don't really want to even attempt to fix it. I've hoping it would finally die anyways.

The wife wants another simple top freezer with an ice maker just like the one we have.

I want a side by side with water and ice in the door. And a larger one than the one we currently have. I like the water option in the door since our mutt must drink filtered water. Currently we have a Brita pitcher in the frig for the mutt.

My frugal wife wants to go with the top freezer since they are cheaper and her complaint is the side by sides don't hold enough. Thoughtfully she is concerned I'll have room for my beer.

She is checking with her coworkers. I thought I'd check here.

I guess I could always buy a fashlight if the other light won;t work.
