O/T I agree with you but Trump has to know going in that it is a sham.

Instead of spending 5 minutes explaining his for/against position on Iraq he should have just said, I was not in office and had nothing to do with it. You were! Same with Libya, Egypt and on and on. Then shift and bring up all of the issues that were never brought up.

NO questions about the Clinton foundation, NO questions about the emails(at least Trump was able to bring this one up), No questions about the Russian uranium deal, No questions about pay for play and the details revealed in the Huma Abedins emails and on and on.

She hasn't answered press questions in a press conference in a year and a "newsman" finally has an opportunity to get answers to some questions from her and she is asked nothing.

Instead questions about Trumps decades old bankruptcy's, Fat shaming a Female beauty contestant, birtherism, Tax returns and other useless questions designed to discredit Trump.

BUT HE HAS TO KNOW THIS GOING IN.

He has to answer the question and then shift to attack mode.

While I think Trump is far better than Clinton he is proof to me how successful the left has been. The fact that he is there representing the right instead of an actual conservative is in my view a horrible sign.

3 things never even mentioned in the debate.

1. Constitution
2. God or faith in any way
3. Economic growth

I can't imagine a debate happening without the Republican even mentioning any of those issues.

I had hoped Trump would be Reaganesque in his ability to speak over the press and directly to the American people but he falls right into their trap. Rambling on incoherently about being for/against going into Iraq.

Yes, Lester Holt and future moderators are in the tank for Hillary. In my view that is beyond debate but he has to overcome it.

There were 14 questions asked in the debate. 7 went to both candidates, 6 went to Trump and one went to Clinton. The ones to Trump were specifically designed to discredit him.

This is the one question asked specifically to Clinton.

“[Trump] also raised the issue of your e-mails. Do you want to respond to that?”

Not exactly a hard hitting question and I have to wonder would it have been asked at all if not for Trump bringing it up.

That is just the way debates are going to go and the Republican candidate has to know that going in. He has to be on the attack. We will see if he improves.
