My recollection, which again could be wrong, is that GALT's other drug (GM-CT-01-I think that's the name) was a previous generation, and the GR-MD-02 is 2nd gen from that. However, I think the entire platform was based on the drug that La Jolla Pharm. was testing for kidney fibrosis (I believe that trial series was stopped or suspended due to the FDA requiring more info. and also La Jolla's re-positioning of funds).

Phase1 and Phase2 drug are the same "GR-MD-02"
