LOLOL!!! Rooney's whiny loser letter is so funny. He's supposedly being paid to HELP GSAT and this letter does nothing butt piss off the commission members and their staffers. What a boneheaded play to pitch ~OUTT this whiny childish 'y'all ain't fair' rant.
I'm nott shure how GSAT can fix this damage (it won't make any difference anyway, the TLPS proposed license is DEAD) - only possible route is to fire Kevin Rooney, disclaim this letter, and gett a better lawyer to pick up the pieces.
Without extensive independent, FCC-approved thorough testing in field and lab conditions over the four seasons in widespread geographical locations by an INDEPENDENT FCC-APPROVED TESTING LAB, GSAT simply has nothing to rebut the data and objections of all the opponents - Google, Microsoft, disabled hearing aid coalition, video game makers coalition, WiFi industry group, etc.).
So, in the big scheme, Rooney's stoopid letter can't really do that much damage, as the horse is dead already.
Butt what a boneheaded letter. If he bills GSAT for that 'strategery' of whining at the Commission, GSAT ought nott to pay him and demand their retainer back and have him withdraw.
Gosh, don't write business communications when you're frustrated, mad, or inebriated. It always comes ~OUTT bad and you fck yourself and your clients over.
This is why Sun Tzu wrote that you should anger your enemy and gett them riled upp and reactionary - that is when people make these rash and typically wrong decisions.
Never respond when you're angry or frustrated. If you can't calm down, gett one of your partners or associates to draft a letter and take a few days to talk it over with them and some trusted colleagues in the firm. Take in their comments and edit the draft letter from your associate/partner with those comments in mind.
Rooney really screwed the pooch with this letter. He now has created very bad blood with the Commission and their staffers. If GSAT doesn't gett a new lawyer, it is beyond redemption as a corporation.
