That was in response to the last line of your post, which clearly suggests that DB settled because they are going to get a lot more from the receivership than just $370 million. BTW, others have calculated DB's share at $700m. It does not matter.

What matters is that - based on the best available info - there will be 2.1b for distribution to the senior noteholders and DB. That will not be enough to pay that class anything close to the value of their claims, so it will be distributed on a pro rata basis according to the value of their allowed claims.

It may be that DB is going to get something more. They have some sort of undisclosed side deal with JPM, so it is possible that JPM is going to pay DB something as well. But we don't know that.

It is also possible that something more will find its way into the receivership, but we don't know that either.
