Unlikely, IMO. The standard of care in prophylactic anticoagulation for CABG has probably changed since those studies were planned almost a decade ago, and I suspect it would still be a difficult task to define a protocol that surgeons would actually adhere to.
If GTC decides at some point to embark on a new CABG program, it could be directed at overcoming the cognitive deficit associated with CABG, which is a separate indication from GTC’s old CABG program that sought to overcome heparin resistance. But I think this, too, is unlikely.
