Now we've lost Auryn's goodwill, and embarrassed them to boot. Bad move in South America.

This is a very insightful statement. Embarrassing a company like Auryn with ties to Volcan is a terrible turn of events. They don't take kindly to public humiliation in South America and this will not go over well. If the MDMN partners were Chinese, that would have been worse. Auryn had most of the leverage, now they have it all. If anyone thinks for one millisecond that Auryn will allow anyone connected to MDMN to make any kind of decision or handle anything remotely resembling finances, they should have their head examined. MDMN shareholders are completely powerless now. Hindsight is 20/20 but it seems to me that the calls for audits and investigations years ago are really starting to sound like good ideas. At this point, too little too late. The masses were lulled into a false sense of security by folks who will remain nameless (although everyone knows who they are). In my opinion, they are complicit in this fraud and should probably be investigated for their role in keeping a scam afloat. Remember, those same people were saying that investigations and audits were pointless. They don't seem so pointless now do they...

In other news, MDMN's previous partner (another bunch of crooks), just sent out the following release. Looks like they took 3 years off but are dusting off the playbook, probably to try and scam a new bunch of gullible people.

There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.
