Before we get all warm and fuzzy this needs to be proven or disproved regarding GMM's.

I have read two articles that are blaming the rapid expansion of the zika virus boundaries to the oxitec GMM's.
This article is from Jan of this year and the spread across south and now north america in the last 6 months is essentially out of control.
