Ok, maybe I've got it figured-- on the last part of the address I've got one of these things " " before the last bracket -- it seems all I need to do is remove that and it's ok. Weird how it got there in the first place.

...even weirder, I think it's an iHub problem. I shouldn't be able to italicize using this < i > (without the spaces)
