Yes, NOMoDo, it does not matter. But I disagree about the split being in the best interest of the common.

The only thing that really is in play is that the Nasdaq listing makes it easier to sell shares.

Suppose it was harder?

Well, perhaps they would be forced to grow up and not spend like drunken sailors. They can raise a little more cash in the next 6 months or so while still listed, some ATM and some preferred. And I still predict they can raise some cheap (non-dillutive) bucks come next winter.

From then, they should be able to make it to cash flow break even, without impairing the 2 R&D focuses.

OTOH, they can just keep diluting the common to buy toys for the boys. No skin off my my back (I am only in the preferred).
