"those same people"...and we see what happened - President Obama faces opposition to everything he proposes, including what Repubs originally supported - e.g. Judge Merrick Garland.
Until "normal" Repubs pols take charge, baggers will continue to block progress...I predict the GOP will do Autopsy II when they lose the WH again.
