Not just universities but private labs, big pharma, etc. Diaappointing announcement but it did generate interest, more research, more plants more growth. MJ is gaining legitimacy in small steps, the more it is looked at the more it will be accepted. As for the research, it will prove positive over time - hopefully not too much time. I've made a rather lengthy study of my own, I've known Mary Jane for over 50 years and have concluded there are no lasting long term effects, only brief short term, even for my arthritis. Not the announcement I expected but a step forward.
