I'd disagree with that as well. But I don't think she's said anything about it recently, and I don't think she'd have any success pushing that view.
But manufacturers of anything do have some liability. That's why we have all the ridiculous warnings applied to ordinary products. I once bought an iron, and the Instructions for Use said: Do not pick up the iron by its base, which becomes very hot.
I suppose guns could come with a warning saying, "Do not use to kill people for no good reason".
