Referring to #msg-12430822, we know that there are $38M in clinical/regulatory milestones for the ATryn DIC program. The triggering events for these milestones will not be disclosed, but it’s reasonable to infer that they are the standard kinds of triggering events employed throughout the drug/biotech industry.

I would guess that there will be a milestone payment upon:

--Treating the first patient in the phase-2 DIC trial
--Meeting with the EMEA at the end of phase-2 to plan for the phase-3 DIC trial
--Treating the first patient in phase-3
--Submitting an MAA for the DIC indication to the EMEA for review
--Approval of the DIC indication for marketing in the EU (probably the largest milestone in this set).

There also are likely smaller milestones for regulatory approval in Canada and the Middle East, which are territories covered by the Leo partnership.
