Vin, what makes you think the "numbers of patients continuing had to be small"? Have you counted them? How many patients were in the Bavi treatment arm originally and at the interim look?

No I didn't count them, but it had to be small because the trial was stopped at the first futility look in. If there was any significant number, then the trial would have been continued.

Do you dismiss the idea that the patients remaining in the Bavi treatment arm, w/o eventing, at the interim look are continuing on maintenance therapy, as PPHM management has said and ethics would demand should their PCPs and those patients so choose?

They can do what they want, just as those in the control arm were free to do what they want.

Do you dismiss the idea that an unknown number of those patients have NOT evented even today? What makes you think those "numbers" are even final numbers today ~6 months later, with data continuing to be collected and analyzed from the ongoing Sunrise study? Do you dismiss the idea that the Bavi treatment arm in the continuing Sunrise study contains patients with CRs or pRs for which data continues to be collected and analyzed?

You have no idea how long the few patients who remained on the Bavi arm until progression or death. There may be a few who showed PRs, just as the same is true for those in the control DOC arm but as I said it had to be a very small population base. Honestly, I have never seen any group of investors cling to something so insignificant. You would be better served in asking why PPHM management doesn't talk about the control arm out-performing anymore.
